विदित है कि गढ़वाल क्षेत्र का स्वास्थ्य का मुख्य केन्द्र बिंदु श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज है। यहां कार्डियो संबंधी रोगियों को इलाज मिले इसके लिए कार्डियो यूनिट जल्द खुलने जा रही है। चारधाम यात्रा के दौरान अत्यधिक मरीज कार्डियो से संबंधी आते है, इसको देखते हुए चारधाम यात्रा पर आने वाले मरीजों के साथ ही स्थानीय लोगों के लिए कार्डियो यूनिट का संचालन होना एक अच्छी पहल है।
