देहरादून/हल्द्वानी । मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिह रावत ने रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह द्वारा लेह से देश मे बीआरओ द्वारा दूरस्थ एवं दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में बनाये गये पुलों (ब्रिजों) का लोकार्पण कार्यक्रम में वचुर्वल प्रतिभाग किया। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने लेह से बीआरओ द्वारा देश मंे बनाये गये 63 पुलों एवं सामरिक दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण सड़कों का लोकार्पण कर राष्ट्र को समर्पित किये। जिसमें उत्तराखण्ड में 1928.74 लाख की लागत से कुल 06 पुलों का लोकार्पण किया गया।
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने सम्बोधित करते हुये कहा कि देश के दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में पुल, सडक निर्माण कर कनेक्टीविटी देना सामरिक दृष्टि से अति महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने बीआरओ को दुर्गम क्षेत्रों मे पुल, सडक निर्माण करने पर बधाई दी व कार्यो की सराहना की। रक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि पुल व सडकें देश के विकास की गति बढाते हैं तथा सडकें विकास, पर्यटन के साथ ही देश रक्षा की दृष्टि से भी अति महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम समृद्व-सशक्त देश निर्माण मे तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहे है। लोकार्पण कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने रामनगर से वचुर्वल प्रतिभाग किया। उन्होने कहा कि प्रदेश मे 06 पुलों का लोकार्पण किया गया है।
उत्तराखण्ड में जोशीमठ-मलार रोड पर रानी पुल लागत 348.12 लाख, ऋषिकेश-धरासू सडक पर खादी पुल लागत 513.00 लाख, जौलजीबी-मुनस्यारी रोड पर कुरकुटिया ब्रिज लागत 142.00 लाख, जौलजीबी-मुनस्यारी सडक पर जुनालीगढ ब्रिज लागत 649.62 लाख, तवाघाट-घाटियाबागढ सडक पर जुंटीगढ ब्रिज लागत 156.00 लाख तथा मुनस्यारी-बगडियार-मिलन सडक पर लास्पा पुल लागत 120.00 लाख के पुलों का लोकापर्ण किया। उन्हांेने कहा कि दुर्गम क्षेत्रों मे पुल सडक निर्माण सामरिक दृष्टि से अति महत्वपूर्ण है। बीआरओ ने दुर्गम क्षेत्रों मे दिन-रात ठंड व बर्फबारी मे भी लगातार काम कर पुलों का निर्माण किया यह बहुत ही सराहनीय व साहसिक कार्य है। उन्होने कहा इन पुलों के निर्माण से क्षेत्रीय जनता के साथ ही सैन्य गतिविधियों के लिये बहुत सुविधा मिलेगी। वर्चुअल लोकार्पण मे सांसद अजय टम्टा ने भी प्रतिभाग किया।
