देहरादून,पहाड़वासी। राजधानी देहरादून में 22 जून से क्रिकेट का रोमांच शुरू होगा। क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन ऑफ उत्तराखंड (सीएयू) की ओर से आयोजित हो रहे उत्तराखंड प्रीमियर लीग के पहले संस्करण में छह टीमों के 18 मुकाबले खेले जाएंगे। जबकि आईपीएल की तर्ज पर सभी मुकाबले दिन और रात में खेले जाएंगे। नौ मैच दिन और नौ मैच रात में होंगे।
राजीव गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में खेले जाने वाले टी-20 मैच में प्रदेशभर की छह टीमें प्रतिभाग करेंगी। लीग के संबंध में रविवार को गुनियाल गांव स्थित अभिमन्यु क्रिकेट एकेडमी में पत्रकारों से वार्ता में सीएयू के प्रवक्ता विजय प्रताप मल्ल ने कहा, सीएयू को मान्यता मिलने के बाद यह पहली प्रोफेशनल लीग है। प्रत्येक टीम में 18 खिलाड़ियों को शामिल किया गया है। टीमों का चयन सीएयू की चयनकर्ता समिति ने किया है।
आईपीएल में अपना जलवा दिखा चुके आकाश मधवाल, राजन कुमार, आदित्य तारे भी यूपीएल में दमखम दिखाएंगे। मैच दोपहर साढ़े तीन बजे और शाम साढ़े सात बजे से खेले जाएंगे। वहीं, शाम को कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने यूपीएल की ट्राॅफी व ड्रेस का अनावरण किया। इस मौके पर सीएयू टी-20 क्रिकेट चेयरमैन इंद्रमोहन बड़थ्वाल, यूपीएल निदेशक अनुज बंसल, यूसी जोशी आदि मौजूद रहे। लीग में प्रत्येक दिन दो मैच खेले जाएंगे, जबकि 26 जून को तीन मैच खेले जाएंगे। टूर्नामेंट में देहरादून दबंग, टिहरी टाइटंस, हरिद्वार हीरोज, नैनीताल निंजा, ऊधमसिंह नगर टाइगर व पिथौरागढ़ चैंप्स टीमें हिस्सा लेंगी। सीएयू सचिव महिम वर्मा ने बताया, आने वाले सालों में उत्तराखंड प्रीमियर लीग को आईपीएल की तर्ज पर आयोजित किया जाएगा। टीमें बढ़ाने के साथ खिलाड़ियों की भी नीलामी की जाएगी। जबकि महिला वर्ग में आयोजित होने वाला हंसा धनै टूर्नामेंट भी यूपीएल की तरह ही आयोजित किया जाएगा।
