नई दिल्ली/देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर नई दिल्ली स्थित उत्तराखण्ड सदन के प्रांगण पर वृक्षारोपण किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने रूद्राक्ष का पौधा रोपित किया।
मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ ने कहा कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण को लेकर काम किया जा रहा है। हम सभी को वृक्षारोपण कर इसमें अपना योगदान देना चाहिए। यह विषय हम सब के जीवन से जुड़ा है। इस वर्ष विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस की थीम पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र की बहाली है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में आज हमने कई घोषणाएं भी की है। राज्य में स्थित समस्त गांवों एवं गांवों के आस-पास के क्षेत्र में स्थित तालाबों जल निकायों, जो राजस्व अभिलेखों में दर्ज हैं, उन सब का अगले 01 वर्ष में पुनर्जीवन किया जायेगा तथा वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 में जलवायु परिवर्ततन सम्बन्धी कार्यों को मुख्यधारा में लाने हेतु राज्य में क्लाईमेंट बजटिंग प्रारम्भ किया जायेगा।
इस अवसर पर विशेष कार्याधिकारी जगमोहन सुन्द्रियाल, अपर प्रमुख वन संरक्षक नोडल अधिकारी ग्रीन इश्यू डा0ॅ एस0डी0 सिंह, अपर स्थानिक आयुक्त ईला गिरी व मुख्य व्यवस्था अधिकारी रंजन मिश्रा उपस्थित थे।
