देहरादून। विरोध के बीच शनिवार को प्रशासन की टीम द्वारा जोगीवाला चैक पर सड़क चैड़ीकरण की कार्यवाही शुरू कर दी गयी है। हालांकि मौके पर कुछ व्यापारियों द्वारा इस कार्यवाही का विरोध किया गया। लेकिन पुलिस के सहयोग से प्रशासन की टीम द्वारा सड़क चैड़ीकरण का काम जारी रखा गया है।
जोगीवाला चैक पर प्रशासन द्वारा सड़क चैड़ीकरण की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी गयी है। सुबह जब मौके पर जेसीबी ने दुकानों को तोड़ने की कार्रवाई शुरू की तो इस दौरान कुछ व्यापारियों ने विरोध जताना शुरू कर दिया। हांलाकि प्रशासन द्वारा उन्हे समझा बुझा कर यह कार्यवाही जारी रखी गयी। इस दौरान ट्रैफिक को भी डायवर्ट कर दिया गया। वाहनों को कारगी से दुधली की तरफ भेजा गया तो वहीं रायपुर और थानो मार्ग पर भी ट्रैफिक डायवर्ट रहा। बताया जा रहा है कि चेतावनी के बाद कुछ दुकानदारों ने सामान शिफ्ट कर खुद अतिक्रमण हटाना शुरू कर दिया।
बता दें कि जोगीवाला चैक पर अतिक्रमण के चलते जाम की समस्या लगातार बढ़ती जा रही थी। एनएच खंड डोईवाला ने इस चैक के चैड़ीकरण की कवायद शुरू करते हुए यहां 40 अतिक्रमण चिह्नित किए गये। बताया जा रहा है कि एक साल पहले भी अतिक्रमण पर लाल निशान लगाए गये, लेकिन काबिज लोगों द्वारा अतिक्रमण नहीं हटाया गया। व्यापारियों की मांग पर बीते बुधवार को राजस्व विभाग की टीम ने अतिक्रमण की फिर से पैमाइश की, जिसमें 38 अतिक्रमण पाए गए। एनएच के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि 10 दिन पहले सार्वजनिक सूचना प्रकाशित कर सभी को 26 जनवरी तक अतिक्रमण हटाने का समय दिया गया था। जिस पर एडीएम ने एनएच के अधिकारियों को नियमानुसार कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही जनमानस से अनुरोध किया कि अतिक्रमण हटाए जाने के दौरान वैकल्पिक रूट का प्रयोग करें। इस मौके पर नगर मजिस्ट्रेट कुश्म चैहान, पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर सरिता डोभाल, एनएच के ईई प्रवीन कुमार आदि कई अधिकारी मौजूद रहे। जोगीवाला व्यापार मंडल के अध्यक्ष महेश यादव ने जबरन दुकानें हटाने की कार्रवाई का विरोध किया है। उनका कहना है कि सभी दुकानें लोगों की अपनी जमीन पर है, जिसकी उनके पास रजिस्ट्री भी है। ऐसे में व्यापारियों को सरकार द्वारा मुआवजा दिया जाना चाहिए।
