युवक की मौत के बाद बवाल, पथराव और आगजनी में दो इंस्पेक्टर समेत पांच घायल, धारा 144 लागू
रूड़की/देहरादून,पहाड़वासी। रुड़की में ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली की चपेट में आने से युवक की मौत के बाद विवाद इतना बढ़ गया कि ग्रामीणों ने पुलिस पर पत्थरबाजी कर दी। इसमें दो इंस्पेक्टर, एक दरोगा समेत पांच लोग घायल हो गए। उपद्रवियों ने एक बाइक को भी आग के हवाले कर दिया। बवाल बढ़ने पर पुलिस ने पहले तो आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े, लेकिन हालात नियंत्रण में न आने पर लाठीचार्ज किया। देर शाम गांव की 10 किलोमीटर की परिधि में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई। देर रात जिलाधिकारी धीराज सिंह गर्ब्याल ने भी मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच की। पुलिस ने पथराव करने वाले करीब 50 से अधिक लोगों को हिरासत में लिया है।
सिविल लाइंस कोतवाली क्षेत्र स्थित बेलड़ा गांव निवासी पंकज (35) बाइक से अपने गांव लौट रहा था। रात 11 बजे के करीब वह ट्रैक्टर की चपेट में आ गया। सोमवार को युवक के परिजन और ग्रामीणों ने कुछ लोगों पर सरिये से हमला करने का आरोप लगाते हुए कोतवाली घेर ली। दोपहर बाद लोगों ने पुलिस से धक्कामुक्की और हाथापाई भी की। पुलिस ने लाठियां फटकारकर किसी तरह लोगों को वहां से खदेड़ा तो लोग बेलड़ा गांव पहुंच गए। हाईवे जाम करने की आशंका के चलते भारी पुलिस बल भी वहां पहुंच गया। यहां ग्रामीणों ने पुलिस पर पथराव कर दिया। इसमें दो इंस्पेक्टर, एक दरोगा घायल हो गए। घायल पुलिस अधिकारियों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। पुलिस का दावा है कि रात आठ बजे तक बवाल शांत कर लिया गया था।
रुड़की के बेलड़ा गांव के लोगों ने युवक की हत्या का आरोप लगाकर सुबह कोतवाली का घेराव किया। वहां से हटे तो नगर निगम चैक में हंगामा किया। वहां से फिर गांव पहुंचे और गांव में आए पुलिसकर्मियों पर पथराव कर दिया। इसके बाद गांव में देर शाम तक बवाल चलता रहा। गांव में तनाव के कारण बड़ी मात्रा में पुलिस बल तैनात रहा। सुबह करीब आठ बजे युवक के परिजन और ग्रामीण सिविल लाइंस कोतवाली पहुंचे। उन्होंने गांव के ही कुछ लोगों पर लोहे के सरियों से हमला कर हत्या करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि पंकज रात को जब गांव के पास पहुंचा तो डीजे बज रहा था। पंकज ने डीजे की आवाज कम करने की बात कही तो उक्त लोगों ने हमला किया था। पुलिस ने परिजनों को बताया कि जांच में हादसे की बात सामने आई है। इससे परिजन नाराज हो गए और उन्होंने कोतवाली को घेर लिया। बवाल की आशंका को देखते हुए पुलिस अधिकारियों ने पीएसी और आसपास के थानों से पुलिस बल बुला लिया। साथी पुलिस अधिकारी आठ बजे से लेकर शाम चार बजे तक परिजनों को समझाने की कोशिश करते रहे लेकिन परिजन और ग्रामीण कोतवाली में ही डटे रहे। इस बीच पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि शव को कोतवाली लाने की कोशिश की जा रही है। इस पर एसपी देहात एसके सिंह, एएसपी निहारिका तोमर और सीओ पल्लवी त्यागी भारी फोर्स के साथ तैनात हो गए। इसके बाद ग्रामीण वहां से चले गए। पुलिस ने सिविल अस्पताल से शव को दूसरे रास्ते से गांव भेजा। सूचना मिलते ही परिजन और ग्रामीण भी गांव पहुंच गए। यहां हाईवे जाम करने की आशंका को देखते हुए एसपी देहात फोर्स के साथ गांव पहुंचे। शाम छह बजे परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने पुलिस पर पथराव कर दिया। इससे भगदड़ मच गई। हमले में मंगलौर कोतवाली प्रभारी मनोज मैनवाल एवं भगवानपुर प्रभारी निरीक्षक राजीव रौथाण गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। दरोगा बारु सिंह चैहान को भी हल्की चोटें आई हैं। गांव में तनाव को देखते हुए सात थानों और कोतवाली का पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया है। पुलिस अधिकारी गांव में डेरा डालकर ग्रामीणों को समझाने में जुटे रहे। वहीं, परिजन हत्या का केस दर्ज करने के बाद ही शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने की जिद पर अड़े रहे।
