पांच करोड़ की जीएसटी चोरी पकड़ी
काशीपुर/देहरादून,पहाड़वासी। राज्य कर विभाग की केंद्रीय अभिसूचना इकाई ने औद्योगिक क्षेत्र महुआखेड़ागंज की बैटरी स्क्रैप रिसाइकिलिंग का कारोबार करने वाली दो फर्म ग्लोबल मेट और अलकाविज पर छापा मारा। इस दौरान करीब पांच करोड़ की जीएसटी चोरी पकड़ी गई। दोनों फर्म ने करीब एक करोड़ की जीएसटी मौके पर ही जमा करा दी है।
अपर आयुक्त कुमाऊं जोन बीएस नगन्याल के निर्देश पर कर उपायुक्त धर्मेंद्र राज चैहान व विमल कुमार पांडे के नेतृत्व में टीम ने महुआखेड़ागंज की दो फर्म पर छापा मारा। नगन्याल ने बताया कि काशीपुर के महुआखेड़ागंज स्थित बैटरी स्क्रैप रीसाइक्लिंग करने वाली दो फर्म और इनको मालवाहन की सेवा दे रही दो ट्रांसपोर्ट कंपनी पर छापा मारा गया है। जीएसटी की टीम ने इन फर्म को अस्तित्वहीन फर्म से रॉ मैटेरियल सप्लाई किए जाने का मामला पकड़ा है। फर्जी बिलों की आड़ में बोगस आईटीसी के लाभ का खेल चल रहा था। प्रथम दृष्टया दोनों फर्म से पांच करोड़ रुपये से ऊपर की जीएसटी चोरी पकड़ में आई है। लगभग एक करोड़ जीएसटी दोनों फर्म ने जांच के दौरान ही जमा भी करा दी है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पिछले कुछ दिन से दोनों फर्म के लेनदेन पर नजर रखी जा रही थी। ये इकाइयां बाहरी राज्यों से फर्जी कंपनियों के बिलों की आड़ में बोगस आईसीटी का लाभ लेकर जीएसटी की देयता को समायोजित कर रही थीं। फर्म पिछले तीन वर्ष से फर्जी वे बिलों के जरिये टोल प्लाजा से पास दिखाकर माल की खरीद को सही दिखाने का प्रयास कर रहीं थीं। टीमों ने फर्म के दस्तावेज जांच के लिए कब्जे में ले लिए हैं। टीम में सहायक आयुक्त मनमोहन असवाल, टीकाराम चन्याल, सुरेंद्र राणा, हरिओम वर्मा, अशोक कुमार, असद अहमद, ईशा व मंजीत राणा आदि शामिल भी शामिल थे।
