सैन्यधाम प्रदेश के युवाओं को सैन्य सेवाओं के लिए आकर्षित करने के लिए प्रेरणा का केंद्र बनेगाः राज्यपाल
-शहीदों के आंगन की मिट्टी व प्रमुख नदियों के पवित्र जल को ‘अमर जवान ज्योति’ की आधारशिला में अर्पित किया गया
देहरादून,पहाड़वासी। राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने सोमवार को गुनियाल गांव, देहरादून स्थित सैन्यधाम में शहीदों के आंगन की पवित्र माटी के प्रतिस्थापना समारोह में प्रतिभाग किया। सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी की अध्यक्षता में हुए इस समारोह में सीडीएस जनरल अनिल चैहान बतौर विशिष्ट अतिथि उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम में राज्यपाल, सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री, सीडीएस एवं उपस्थित वीर नारियों द्वारा शहीदों के आंगन की पवित्र मिट्टी के साथ-साथ प्रदेश की प्रमुख नदियों के पवित्र जल को सैन्यधाम में निर्मित होने वाली ‘अमर जवान ज्योति’ की आधारशिला में अर्पित किया। कार्यक्रम के अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने कहा कि आज का दिन, हमारे वीर शहीदों के प्रति सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने का दिन है। 1734 शहीदों के आंगन से लाई गई पवित्र मिट्टी से निर्मित होने वाला यह स्मारक आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक प्रेरणा स्तम्भ के रूप में रहेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सैन्यधाम हमारी आस्था का केन्द्र ही नहीं बल्कि हमारे वीर सैनिकों के अतुलनीय योगदान को प्रदर्शित करने वाला स्मारक बनेगा। यह सैन्यधाम हमारे प्रदेश के युवाओं को सैन्य सेवाओं के लिए आकर्षित करने के लिए प्रेरणा का केंद्र बनेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि सैन्यधाम शहीदों के परिजनों और वीरांगनाओं के त्याग को मान और सम्मान प्रदान करने का पवित्र धाम है।
राज्यपाल ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड के वीर जवान राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के क्षेत्र में अपना अमूल्य योगदान दे रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह हम सभी की जिम्मेदारी है कि हम अपने जवानों के साथ-साथ देश सेवा के लिए सर्वस्व न्यौछावर करने वाले शहीद सैनिक परिवारों की सहायता और मदद करें। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड के वीर जवान पूरे देश में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के क्षेत्र में अपने कर्तव्यों का बखूबी निर्वहन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सैन्यधाम उत्तराखण्ड की पहचान बनने जा रहा है।
समारोह में सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि हमारे वीर सैनिकों की राष्ट्रभक्ति और उनके समर्पण ने देश की रक्षा में हमेशा अग्रणी भूमिका निभायी है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश की रक्षा करने वाला हर 5वां सैनिक उत्तराखण्ड से है। हमारे जाबाज सैनिकों द्वारा देश हित में लड़ी गई सभी लड़ाईयों में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाकर अपनी जान की बाजी लगायी है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम सभी का यह कर्तव्य बनता है कि हम ऐसे वीर योद्धाओं के परिवारों का मान एवं सम्मान कर उन शहीदों की याद को सदैव जीवित रखें। इसी परिकल्पना से निर्मित किए गए इस सैन्यधाम हेतु प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की परिकल्पना एवं मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी जी के संकल्प से लगातार कार्य पूर्ण किये जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सैन्यधाम ने केवल प्रदेश के युवाओं को बल्कि देशभर के युवाओं को सदैव प्रेरित करता रहेगा।
सीडीएस जनरल अनिल चैहान ने कहा कि अमर जवान ज्योति की स्थापना के अवसर पर सम्मिलित होने का उन्हें यह सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह अवसर इसलिए भी गौरवपूर्ण है कि अमर जवान ज्योति की नीव में प्रदेश के 1734 शहीदों के आंगन की मिट्टी समाहित की जा रही है और प्रदेश की पवित्र 28 नदियों का जल भी लाया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा में सशस्त्र सेनाओं का बहुत बड़ा योगदान रहा है। सीडीएस ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और राष्ट्र निर्माण हम सभी की बराबर जिम्मेदारी है।
उन्होंने कहा कि सैन्यधाम के माध्यम से उत्तराखण्ड के लोगों ने अपने सैनिकों को अमर बना दिया है और यह सुनिश्चित किया है उनकी विरासत आने वाली पीढ़ियों के दिल और दिमाग में बनी रहेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड को सैन्य भूमि भी कहा जाता है। सशस्त्र बलों में यहां के सैनिकों ने अपनी सम्मानजनक उपस्थित से एक विशिष्ट पहचान बनायी है। उत्तराखण्ड के सैनिकों को उनकी अभूतपूर्व बहादुरी के लिए हमेशा याद किया जाएगा। इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महेन्द्र भट्ट ने कहा कि सैन्यधाम के रूप में यह 5वां धाम स्थापित हो रहा है जो उन बहादुर जवानों के प्रति प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को नतमस्तक करेगा, जिन्होंने देश सेवा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी है। इस अवसर पर मेयर देहरादून सुनील उनियाल गामा, विधायक खजान दास, सविता कपूर, सचिव सैनिक कल्याण दीपेन्द्र कुमार चैधरी, जीओसी सब एरिया मेजर जनरल संजीव खत्री, निदेशक सैनिक कल्याण ब्रिगेडियर अमृतलाल, एम.डी. उपनल ब्रिगेडियर जे.एन.एस. बिष्ट, सहित अनेक गणमान्य लोग, वीर नारियां और शहीद परिवारों के परिजन उपस्थित रहे।
