देहरादून। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी शनिवार को देहरादून कालागांव स्थित जैन स्पोर्ट्स एकैडमी में देहरादून स्पोर्ट्स टाइकोंडो एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित दो दिवसीय उत्तराखण्ड कप सबजूनियर कैडेट जूनियर सीनियर टाइकोंडो चैम्पियनशिप-2023 का शुभारंभ किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में 12 से 17 वर्ष से ऊपर के बच्चे शामिल है। प्रतियोगिता में प्रदेश भर से करीब 300 से अधिक बालक बालिकाओं ने हिस्सा लिया है।

प्रतियोगिता के शुभारंभ कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने आज हुए मैच में उत्तराखंड के 10 खिलाड़ियों को राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता के लिए हुए चयन बालक बालिकाओं को मेडल देकर सम्मानित कर उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया। इस अवसर पर मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में देशभर के खेल प्रेमियों के प्रतिभा को निखारने के लिए अनेकों प्रयास किए जा रहे है। उन्होंने कहा आज हमारे बच्चे खेल के क्षेत्र में अपनी प्रतिभा के जरिए देश को आगे बढ़ाने का काम कर रहे है।

मंत्री जोशी ने कहा उत्तराखंड में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में प्रदेश सरकार ने नई खेल नीति के माध्यम से खिलाड़ियों का भविष्य सुरक्षित करने के उद्देश्य से बनाई गई है। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा निश्चित ही इस नई नीति से खिलाड़ियों को इसका लाभ मिलेगा। इस अवसर पर मंत्री जोशी ने सभी चयनित खिलाड़ियों को भविष्य के लिए बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। इस अवसर पर सेंट जेवीएस स्कूल के डायरेक्टर संभव रावत, अपोलो स्कूल के चेयरमैन मोहित बंसल, एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष अजीत मल्होत्रा,जितेंद्र सिंह सहित कई लोग उपस्थित रहे।
