नई टिहरी : हिंडोलाखाल थाना अंतर्गत कफलना गांव निवासी 75 वर्षीय महिला की हत्या कर उसका शव खेत में दबा दिया गया। वृद्धा के न दिखाई देने के कारण शुक्रवार शाम जब ग्रामीणों ने तलाश की तो खेत से बदबू आने पर महिला का शव दबा होने की जानकारी मिली। शव गांव के पास ही खेत में मिट्टी और पत्थरों से दबाया गया था। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शव को बाहर निकाला और पोस्टमार्टम के लिए जिला अस्पताल भेजा।
कफलना गांव निवासी भाना देवी के पति की पिछले साल मौत हो गई थी। महिला की दो बेटियों की शादी होने के बाद वह घर में अकेली ही थी। ग्रामीण श्री वीरेंद्र पंवार ने बताया कि बुजुर्ग महिला श्रीमती भाना देवी पिछले कुछ दिनों से दिखाई नहीं दे रही थी, तो ग्रामीणों ने उनकी तलाश शुरू की।
ग्रामीणों ने हिंडोलाखाल पुलिस को सूचना दी। हिंडोलाखाल थानाध्यक्ष श्री जितेंद्र कुमार ने बताया कि महिला का शव कुछ दिन पुराना है और बुरी तरह सड़ चुका है। पोस्टमार्टम के लिए बाद ही मौत के कारणों का पता चलेगा। अभी किसी स्वजन की तरफ से तहरीर नहीं आई है। महिला की बेटियां अपने ससुराल में रहती हैं। बताया कि महिला के घर से किसी तरह की चोरी नहीं हुई है और घर में कुत्ता बंधा हुआ था। संभवत महिला की हत्या करने के बाद ही शव को दबाया गया है। मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
