सहायक पुलिस अधीक्षक अक्षय प्रह्लाद कोंडे ने मंगलवार को मामले का खुलासा किया। उन्होंने बताया कि सोमवार देर रात 112 नंबर पर कुंडा थाना क्षेत्र निवासी एक किशोरी ने कॉल की। उसने बताया कि उसकी उम्र 17 साल है, लेकिन उसकी मां ने मौसी और मौसा से मिलकर कुछ दिन पहले उसे हरियाणा के एक आदमी को बेच दिया।
बताया कि उसे हरियाणा ले जाने के बाद एक युवक से जबरन शादी करा दी गयी। किशोरी का कहना था कि वह किसी तरह मौका पाकर युवक के घर से भागकर काशीपुर लौटी है। आरोप लगाया कि यहां मां और अन्य परिजन उसे जबरन हरियाणा वापस भेजना चाहते हैं। बताया कि उससे शादी करने वाला युवक भी उसे जबरन ले जाने के लिये काशीपुर आया है। सहायक पुलिस अधीक्षक कोंडे ने बताया कि जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस हरकत में आयी और किशोरी के बताये पते पर दबिश दी।
मौके से किशोरी की मां चरनजीत कौर, मौसा पाल सिंह उर्फ पाला और मौसी रजनी कौर दोनों निवासी नागलमुंदी, ढैणा, रेवाड़ी (हरियाणा) को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। बताया कि किशोरी से शादी करने वाला टोनी पुत्र महेंद्र सिंह निवासी रेवाड़ी मौके से फरार हो गया। उन्होंने बताया कि किशोरी से पूछताछ के बाद गिरफ्तार और फरार आरोपियों समेत कालू, संजय पुत्र कालू, शालू पत्नी संजय तीनों निवासी नागलमुंदी, ढैणा, रेवाड़ी (हरियाणा) और शादी कराने वाले पंडित पर भी मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया गया है। फिलहाल किशोरी पुलिस सुरक्षा में है।
