देहरादून। पौड़ी में दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया। विकासखंड कोट के रखूण गांव के पास स्थित गेंठीछेड़ा झरने की झील में नहाने गए भाई-बहन की डूबने से मौत हो गई। अमावस्या के दिन परिवार के दो चिराग बुझने से घर में मातम छाया हुआ है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, पौड़ी ब्लाक के सिरोली गांव के मूल निवासी प्रमोद रावत की बेटी दिव्या रावत (16वर्ष) और अमन रावत (14वर्ष) अपने ननिहाल कोट ब्लाक स्थित रखूण गांव गए थे। जहां वे शाम को गेंठीछेड़ा झरने की झील में नहाने के लिए चले गए। नहाते वक्त पैर फिसलने से दोनों डूबने लगे। उनके साथ मामा की लड़की भी गई हुई थी।
उसने दोनों को डूबता देख ग्रामीणों को इसकी सूचना दी। मौके पर पहुंचे ग्रामीणों ने बच्चों को झील से निकालकर 108 की मदद से जिला अस्पताल पौड़ी उपचार के लिए पहुंचाया। लेकिन डाक्टरों ने दोनों को मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटना के बाद से मां, नानी व मामा समेत पूरे परिवार का रो रोकर बुरा हाल है।
जिला चिकित्सालय पौड़ी के चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डा. गौरव रतूड़ी ने बताया कि अस्पताल पहुंचने से पहले ही दोनों बच्चों की मौत हो चुकी थी। दिव्या व अमन के पिता प्रमोद रावत असम राइफल में सेवारत हैं। वे इस समय मणिपुर में तैनात हैं। माता निर्मला देवी गृहणी हैं। जबकि मामा अनिल सिंह कोट ब्लाक में भाजपा के मंडल अध्यक्ष हैं।
