देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने परेड ग्राउंड देहरादून में स्मार्ट सिटी योजना के अन्तर्गत संचालित की जाने वाले 05 इलेक्ट्रिक बसों को हरी झण्डी दिखाई एवं स्मार्ट टॉयलेट का लोकार्पण किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने जिन 05 इलेक्ट्रिक बसों को हरी झण्डी दिखाई ये रायपुर से सेलाकुई रूट की बसें हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने कहा कि इन इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के संचालन से लोगों को आवागमन में सुविधा होगी और इनसे प्रदूषण भी नहीं होगा। ये सभी बसें वातानुकूलित हैं। इनमें यात्रियों की सुविधा के दृष्टिगत आपातकालीन बटन, इमरजेंसी हैमर, हर सीट पर यूएबी पोर्ट एवं दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों के लिए व्हील चेयर खड़ी करने के लिए स्थान की सुविधा दी गई है।
सीईओ स्मार्ट सिटी/ जिलाधिकारी देहरादून डॉ. आशीष कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने जानकारी दी कि इन बसों की बैट्री पूरी चार्ज होने के बाद एक समय में 180 किमी चल सकती है। इन बसों में जीपीएस सिस्टम, सीसीटीवी कैमरे, ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन, अग्निशमन यंत्र एवं रिजनरेशन सिस्टम एवं अन्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध है।
इस अवसर पर शहरी विकास मंत्री वंशीधर भगत, सांसद माला राज्यलक्ष्मी शाह, मेयर सुनील उनियाल गामा, विधायक हरबंस कपूर, सहदेव सिंह पुण्डीर, खजान दास, उमेश शर्मा काऊ आदि उपस्थित थे।
