डंपिंग जोन में कूड़ा निस्तारण की प्रक्रिया हुई शुरू

ऋषिकेश। ऋषिकेश के बीचो-बीच बने कूड़ा डंपिंग जोन में शहर की सबसे बड़ी समस्या बने कूड़े के पहाड़ के निस्तारण की प्रक्रिया आरंभ हो गई है। नगर निगम महापौर ने लाखों मैट्रिक कूड़े के पहाड़ के निस्तारण की शुरुआत मशीनों की विधिवत पूजा कर की। ऋषिकेश में पिछले चार दशक से गोविंद नगर स्थित जिस खाली भूखंड में गिराए जा रहे कूड़े की वजह से लाखों मैट्रिक टन कूड़े का पहाड़ बन गया था।
ट्रचिंग ग्राउंड में कूड़े के निस्तारण की प्रक्रिया शुरू कराने के अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में महापौर अनिता ममगाई ने कहा कि ट्रचिंग ग्राउंड में पिछले चार दशकों से गिराये जा रहे कूड़े की वजह से कूड़े का बड़ा पहाड़ खड़ा हो चुका था। इसकी वजह से गोविंद नगर क्षेत्र के लोग विभिन्न बीमारियों से जूझने को मजबूर थे। शहर की इस सबसे बड़ी समस्या का निस्तारण होना निगम प्रशासन के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक सफलता है। उन्हें खुशी है कि इसके लिए की गई लंबी मशक्कत कामयाब हो पायी।
नगर निगम महापौर अनिता ममगाई ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि ट्रचिंग ग्राउंड को शिफ्ट किए बगैर ठोस अपशिष्ट के निस्तारण एवं प्रोसेसिंग प्लांट की योजना को साकार नहीं किया जा सकता था। हांलाकि, इसके लिए तमाम प्रयास और लम्बी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी। महापौर के अनुसार अंतरराष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त धार्मिक एवं पर्यटन नगरी ऋषिकेश में लाल पानी कक्ष संख्या-1 में ठोस अपशिष्ट के निस्तारण एवं प्रोसेसिंग प्लांट लगाने के लिए भारत सरकार द्वारा सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति मिलने के बाद भी विभिन्न तकनीकी पेंच थे, जिसके लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाए गये।
उन्होंने कहा कि ऋषिकेश नगर निगम की यह महत्वकांक्षी योजना का सपना साकार करना एक बड़ी उपलब्धि है। इसका श्रेय उन्होंने निगम अधिकारियों सहित बोर्ड के तमाम सदस्यों को भी दिया। इस अवसर पर अधिशासी अभियंता विनोद जोशी, सहायक नगर आयुष एलम दास, विनोद लाल,पार्षद अजीत गोल्डी, अनीता प्रधान कमलेश जैन, विजय बडोनी, राकेश सिंह, मनीष बनवाल, अनीता रैना, लक्ष्मी रावत, चेतन चैहान, गुरविंदर सिंह गुरी, प्रभाकर सोनू, जयेश राणा, उमा बृजपाल राणा, शकुंतला शर्मा, विजयलक्ष्मी शर्मा, सुरेंद्र मोघा, जितेंद्र अग्रवाल, विनोद शर्मा, पंकज शर्मा, मदन कोठारी, विकाश सेमवाल, अक्षय खेरवाल, संजय बर्मा, पुष्पा मिशाल, मंजू बलोधी, हैप्पी सेमवाल, रूपेश गुप्ता, रणवीर, गौरव केन्थुला, सुजीत यादव, राजीव गुप्ता आदि मोजूद रहे।
