अवैध पेड़ कटान मामले में मंत्री सुबोध को बाहर का रास्ता दिखाए सरकारः मोर्चा

विकासनगर/देहरादून, पहाड़वासी। जन संघर्ष मोर्चा अध्यक्ष एवं जीएमवीएन के पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष रघुनाथ सिंह नेगी ने कहा कि यमुना वृत के चकराता/टोंस वन प्रभाग के अंतर्गत कुछ दिन पूर्व वन माफियाओं द्वारा लगभग सैकड़ों बेशकीमती देवदार के पेड़ों का अवैध पातन/ कटान किया गया, जिसमें जांच के नाम पर सिर्फ कर्मचारियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई, जबकि बड़े वाले मगरमच्छ (उच्च अधिकारी) जांच के दायरे से बाहर हैं। नेगी ने कहा कि कल वन मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने बयान दिया कि डीएफओ, चकराता बेहद ईमानदार हैं, जोकि बहुत ही गैर जिम्मेदाराना बयान है। सुबोध उनियाल उच्चाधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई करने के बजाय क्लीन चिट बांट रहे हैं। यहां सवाल जिम्मेदारी का है, न कि ईमानदारी का। इस मामले में सीधे तौर पर डीएफओ व उच्चाधिकारी जिम्मेदार हैं, जिनकी लापरवाही की वजह से इतना बड़ा मामला हुआ। अगर सुबोध उनियाल का अधिकारियों पर नियंत्रण होता तो यह सब न हो पता, इसके लिए प्रत्यक्ष/अप्रत्यक्ष तौर पर वन मंत्री भी काफी हद तक जिम्मेदार हैं, जिनको पद पर बने रहने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है। अगर विभागीय मंत्री थोड़ा बहुत सजग होते तो अधिकारी ए.सी. में बैठने के बजाय फील्ड में होते। मोर्चा सरकार से मांग करता है कि अवैध पातन मामले में उच्च स्तरीय जांच करवाए एवं ऐसे लापरवाह एवं गैर जिम्मेदार मंत्री को बाहर का रास्ता दिखाए।
