हरिद्वार/देहरादून, पहाड़वासी। पाकिस्तान के मुल्तान शहर से आई मुल्तान जोत हरिद्वार पहुंची। धूमधाम के साथ मुल्तान जोत महोत्सव मनाया गया। बड़ी संख्या में मुल्तान समाज के लोगों ने हर की पैड़ी पर मां गंगा के साथ दूध की होली खेली और गंगा पूजन के साथ हवन यज्ञ भी किया। कैबिनेट मंत्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल की ओर से भी ज्योति प्रज्ज्वलित कर यात्रा को रवाना किया। अखिल भारतीय मुल्तान युवा संगठन से जुड़े लोग आजादी से पहले वर्ष 1913 से पाकिस्तान के मुल्तान शहर से मुल्तान जोत हरिद्वार लाते आ रहे हैं। इस बार उनके द्वारा 113 वां मुल्तान जोत महोत्सव मनाया गया है।
जिसके लिए सुबह उनकी ओर से धूमधाम के साथ हर की पैड़ी पर मां गंगा के साथ दूध की होली खेली गई। संगठन से जुड़े लोगों ने बताया कि मां गंगा से सनातन धर्म की रक्षा, आपसी भाईचारे को बनाए रखने और विश्व शांति की कामना लेकर ही मुल्तान जोत महोत्सव मनाया जाता है। वर्षभर उन्हें इस दिन का इंतजार रहता है और इस महोत्सव के जरिए भारत और पाकिस्तान के लोगों को मिलने का अवसर भी प्राप्त होता है। उधर, श्री सावन जोत सभा की ओर से भी विशाल शोभायात्रा भजन गढ़ आश्रम से भीमगोड़ा के लिए निकाली गई। जिसमें उत्तराखंड के कैबिनेट मंत्री डॉ. प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने ज्योति प्रज्वलित करके झंडी दिखाकर यात्रा को रवाना किया। उन्होंने कहा कि वे कई वर्षों से इस धार्मिक कार्यक्रम में सहभाग करते आ रहे हैं। उन्होंने सभी के लिए मां गंगा की कृपा और भगवान भोलेनाथ का आशीर्वाद बने रहने की कामना की। डा. प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने सभा की ओर से इस परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाने की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि अखंड भारत के मुल्तान जिला, जो अब पाकिस्तान में है, वे इस परंपरा को निभा रहे हैं। उन्होंने 24वें वार्षिक उत्सव की बधाई दी। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने कहा कि वर्ष 1910 से यह परंपरा चली आ रही है। इस मौके पर रूपचंद व अजय मुल्तान से पैदल चलकर हरिद्वार आते थे, मुल्तानी समाज उसी परंपरा को आगे बढ़ा रहा है। इस अवसर पर सभा के प्रधान किशोर नागपाल, ईश्वर अग्रवाल, चेयरमैन कैलाश सचदेवा, सचिव जितेंद्र कटारिया, कोषाध्यक्ष गुरुशरण चौधरी, अजय दीवान, विजय दीवान, लव सेतिया, दीपक बुग्गरा, महंत मोहन सिंह आदि मौजूद रहे।
