वाहन चालक नवल रावत पुत्र राम सिंह रावत देहरादून से अपने मित्रों के साथ चोपता घूमने आया था।चोपता से घूमने के बाद वापसी में ऊखीमठ-चोपता मोटरमार्ग के सिरसोली के निकट सड़क किनारे बैठे रणवीर सिंह (42) पुत्र नारायण सिंह उम्र और मदन सिंह (40) पुत्र गब्बर सिंह को वाहन से टक्कर मार दी। जिससे दोनों व्यक्ति गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। घायलों को को स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र ऊखीमठ पहुंचाया गया, जहां दोनों ने दम तोड़ दिया। पुलिस ने आरोपी चालक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। वहीं, पुलिस अधीक्षक आयुष अग्रवाल ने बताया कि आरोपी वाहन चालक को हिरासत में ले लिया है और आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
