यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया की सहसपुर शाखा में लगी आग

देहरादून,पहाड़वासी। सहसपुर मुख्य बाजार स्थित यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया में सोमवार की रात को अचानक आग लग गई। मुख्य बाजार में होने के चलते समय रहते आग पर काबू पा लिया गया। आग से बैंक के कुछ कंप्यूटर जल गए। आग से हुए नुकसान की पूरी स्थिति स्पष्ट नहीं हो सकी है। गनीमत रही कि आग लॉकर रूम तक नहीं पहुंची।

जानकारी के अनुसार सोमवार की रात करीब 9.20 बजे आसपास के लोगों को बैंक से धुंआ उठता हुआ दिखाई दिया। लोगों ने इसकी सूचना कुछ दूरी पर स्थित सहसपुर थाना पुलिस को दी। थानाध्यक्ष गिरीश नेगी और एसएसआई प्रमोद कुमार मौके पर पहुंचे। उन्होंने तत्काल सूचना फायर बिग्रेड को दी। खबर लगने पर बैंक कर्मी भी मौके पर पहुंच गए। आनन फानन में ताला खोला गया। तब तक मौके पर सेलाकुई से फायर ब्रिगेड के दो दमकल भी पहुंच गए। करीब एक घंटे चले अभियान के बाद आग पर काबू पा लिया गया। थानाध्यक्ष ने बताया कि प्रथम दृष्टया आग लगने का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट प्रतीत हो रहा है। आग के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि गनीमत रही कि आग लॉकर रूम तक नहीं पहुंची। इससे पहले ही आग पर काबू पा लिया गया। सुबह होने पर ही आग से हुए नुकसान की स्थिति स्पष्ट हो सकेगी।
