देहरादून। उत्तराखंड विधानमंडल दल का नेता चुने जाने के बाद पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि मेरी सरकार प्रदेश के अंतिम छोर पर खड़े व्यक्ति तक भी अपने सेवाएं पहुंचाएगी। कहा कि जिस तरह मेरी मां ने मुझे जन्म दिया, वैसे ही मेरी पार्टी ने भी मुझे अपने आंचल की छांव देने का काम किया है।
एक सामान्य कार्यकर्ता का विकास कैसे हो सकता है, मैं उसका जीवंत उदाहरण हूं। न तो मेरी कोई राजनीतिक पृष्ठभूमि रही है और न ही राजनीतिक परिवार। पार्टी की नीतियों ने ही मुझे आज यहां तक पहुंचाया है, जिसके लिए मैं सभी का आभारी हूं। भाजपा प्रदेश कार्यालय में विधानमंडल दल के मुखिया चुने जाने के बाद पुष्कर सिंह धामी मीडिया से रूबरू हुए।
सबसे पहले उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा का आभार जताया। इसके बाद प्रदेश के सभी वरिष्ठ नेताओं, विधायकों का भी शुक्रिया अदा किया।
