थराली बाजार और सिमलसैण गांव के अस्तित्व को खतरा

थराली। चमोली के थराली में 18 जून को हुई भारी बारिश के बाद अब पिंडर नदी के किनारे बसा थराली बाजार और सिमलसैण गांव के अस्तित्व को खतरा पैदा हो गया है। बाजार के व्यापारी डर के कारण अपनी दुकानें खाली करने लगे हैं। तो दूसरी तरफ सिमलसैण गांव के लोग भी अपना घर छोड़ने के लिए मजबूर हो गए हैं।
18 जून को हुई भारी बारिश ने पिंडर नदी के जलस्तर को बैनोली के बस्ती तोक सिमलसैण गांव और थराली बाजार की सुरक्षा दीवारों तक पहुंच गया था। इससे सुरक्षा दीवार को काफी क्षति पहुंची थी।
साथ ही आबादी पर भूस्खलन का खतरा भी बढ़ गया है। वहीं अब लोगों को मॉनसून में होने वाली बारिश से और भी ज्यादा डर लग रहा है. घबराए गांव के लोग व बाजार के व्यापारी अपने घर-दुकानें छोड़ने के लिए मजबूर हो गए हैं। लोगों ने जल्द स्थानीय प्रशासन से पिंडर नदी के दोनों किनारों से बाढ़ सुरक्षा के कार्य कराए जाने की मांग की है।
